It seems like every time I take a break from playing tennis I lose my “A” game?
Tennis is a game of rhythm. It’s so easy to lose your rhythm if you haven’t played for a while. However, that doesn’t mean you need to be discouraged because rhythm comes back if you do the right thing.
When you haven’t played for a while and decide to go back to the courts I call this phase the trial and error phase. I personally try to hit every shot I know with different speeds, topspin, angels and power till I find my favorite zone. It might take a while but you gotta be patient cause remember it’s your first time coming back. Kinda like when you haven’t lifted weights and you hit the gym, I can guarantee that you’re not going to be able to lift as much as you used right of the bet. and you’re going to be sore after the first time.
Key thing is take your time and the let the game come to you!
