Playing Smart
So How Do I Play Smart Tennis?
Well, every player has different strengths and weaknesses. The rule of thumb is to play to the oponnents weaknesses; but what if the oponnent doesn’t have a big flaw in his game?
I’d like to switch things up, for instance start coming to the net. Move him/her around on the court, if a player plays a power game then I try to take that away from him/her by cutting the courts with angles and cutting the time, meaning taking the shot early when it bounces on my court. Take for example Baghdatis, he beat Andy Roddick by doing so. Throw as much varieties as you can at your oponnent till you see the other weakness of their game.
