How to play the best tennis at a USTA tourney?
Well, it seems like a lot of players play great when their playing recreational tennis but really struggle when it comes down to competition USTA tourneys.
The reason for that is obvious which is nerves. You shouldn’t play too conservative, I would recommend out of experience to not go for it at the get go . Take your time at the beginning of the match. Get to feel the new courts your playing on, keep the ball in play for the first couple of games. Then go right back to your style of tennis and don’t hold anything back. Let your nerves take its course and then you’ll be all good to go.
